zombieX Tips and stuff

Tips for zombieX (v1.3 BETA 10)


Bind commands with \bind (key) openscriptmenu quickzomx2 (number)
To bind zombie explode to X - \bind x openscriptmenu quickzomx2 8

To bind other things like taunts and masks change quickzomx2 to
  • Taunts - zomxtaunts
  • Characters - zomxchar
  • Masks - zomxmask
The first zombie(s) are picked based on how much damage a hunter has done since they were last a first zombie, so hunters who do a lot of damage will find they are picked for the first zombie more often.



Head shots do at least 80 damage.
Bayonet damage is the zombies max health minus 1 (350 - 1 = 349).
Knife damage is the zombies max health divided by 3 (350 / 3 = 116).
Snipers and bolt rifles will instakill on a head shot and shell shock for 0.8 seconds.
Direct hits with rockets and rifle grenades do 1000 damage.
If the zombie is wearing a bucket or coconut then head shots will do normal damage, snipers and bolt rifles will knock the bucket/coconut off in 1 hit while other weapons take 8 hits.
When planting a mine you will see 2 rings expand off it, the inner white ring is the trigger radius and the outer red ring is the kill radius, any zombies in the kill radius will die with the mine is triggered by a zombie entering the white ring. Mines do no damage to yourself.
To give a teammate one of your sodas, look at them and select Soda.
To accept a soda look at the guy giving it to you and knife them.
The Ion Cannon has a very large damage radius, when using it make sure you're hiding in a safe spot!
If you get infected by a zombie you must drink 2 sodas to stop the infection.
If you are killed by the first zombie you spawn where you died.
While infected you loose 1 health per second.

Weapons (with no attachments) that have been replaced with modern weapons (from CoD4 and BO)
  • Browning .30 cal -> AK74u
  • Type99 LMG -> M60E4
  • MP40 -> AK47 (Prestige 10 players get a golden AK47)
  • SVT40 -> Commando

Perks that do extra/different things
  • Double tap - Also increases sentry fire rate
  • Stopping power - Also increases sentry damage
  • Fire proof - Damage to yourself from molotovs is reduced
  • Satchel charges, Bazooka, Betty and Grenade perks give you more than just 2
  • Flak Jacket - Reduce damage from zombie explode
  • Gas mask - Unaffected by zombie gas clouds
  • Juggernaut - Reduced zombie slap damage
  • Second Chance - Regain more health from sodas (if a teammate gives you a soda and they don't have Second Chance you won't get extra health)

Perks that are useless
  • Bomb squad
  • Bandolier
  • Camouflage
  • Shades
  • Overkill
  • Toss back
  • Martyrdom
  • Dead silence

Last hunter
As the last hunter you are not hurt by any of your own weapons.
Explosive weapons and flamethrower do more damage.
Knife and bayonet hits are instakills.
Your health regenerates at a rate of 4 per second.
Ray gun has limited ammo, if you have 20K points when you become the last hunter you get the shiny ray gun.
Your sentry takes 3 hits to die, does more damage and has a slightly longer range.



Attack damages
  • Slap - 30 (24 with Juggernaut)
  • Puke - 1 damage every 0.05 seconds, lasts for 2 seconds max (40 damage max)
  • Explode - 22 (12 with Flak Jacket)
  • Dog bite - 16
  • Body part - 20

Gas clouds slow hunters down (unless they're using the Gas Mask perk).
When a limb explodes it releases a small gas cloud.
Puking on a hunter will slow them down while making you unable to move, so get close, puke and slap them while they have a hard time getting away.
Body parts can bounce and hit multiple hunters, but the same body part can't hurt a single hunter more than once.
Because of a bug with the WaW mod tools custom models are not solid to bullets, grenades etc, so to destroy sentries you must blowup near them.
If you are prestige 1 then you must wait 8 seconds before your health starts regenerating, prestige 2 and above have to wait 5 seconds, regeneration is also faster.

First zombie
You can infect hunters by slapping or having one of your dogs bite them.
If you are killed by a bullet type weapon you release a gas cloud.

Full Moon
The full moon is summoned when a zombie gets 5 kills -
  • Lasts 40 - 60 seconds
  • Zombie movement speed increased by 10% - 15%
  • Slaps always do 40 damage
  • Map becomes darker, but zombies have zombie vision making it much easier to see

Second chance gives more from a soda. 30 instead of 20
