Sfpg Gallery
« on: August 18, 2010, 04:16:08 AM »
Say KiLL3R - I've tripped across your install of sfpg gallery and tried it out myself - great for pix - but I'm wondering how you do the text w/ downloads.

I'm thinking you've written code for that - I can put the text/dl links together in a block in a phpnuke install - but I'm not getting anywhere trying this with the sfpg file.

Any hints or tips on that ? I do like the way you've got your gallery laid out.

Set DIR_DESC_HTML to TRUE in index.php, that will allow HTML in the _desc.txt file of each folder.
Then you can put something like this in -

Code: [Select]

<center><font color=&quot;#FFFF00&quot;>K3 Mod v1.62</font><br /><a href=&quot;http://www.kill3r.co.cc/downloads/?id=24&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;>Download</a></center>

thanks !  I just figured out you're using v3.6 - the latest 4.1 has some different defines - no wonder :p

hey Kill3r - if i can get another push ... How do you define multiple dir ?

I have L4D2 as first dir, CoD5 and CoD4 as 2nd & 3rd dir.
I figured out that i have to edit these 2:

  define("DIR_IMAGE_FILE", "L4D2_image.png");
  define("DIR_DESC_FILE", "L4D2_desc.txt");

but it works for just L4D2, so I tried adding lines to the index.php but that doesn't work.

theblackduck.net/test/index.php

I appreciate the help

Don't change DIR_IMAGE_FILE or DIR_DESC_FILE settings, all you have to do is put files called _desc.txt, _image.jpg and _name.txt in each folder.

Just carefully read the readme.txt

OMG! lol ... weird .. Its good to know that not only do you NOT edit the php like I did, but the filenames are similarly named facepalm

works a charm, thanks K ~!
