COD: WAW Crashing
« on: May 13, 2010, 10:47:31 AM »
Yesterday, my Game CODWAW kept crashing after i play for 5-10 seconds, so i tried the following steps:

1- Re-installing the game (same Problem)
2- Re-installing Latest PB (same Problem)
3- Disabling the startup programs (same problem)
4- Re-installing Latest ATI Driver (same problem)
5- Re-installing Latest DirectX 11 (same problem)
6- Re-installing the ZombieX Mod (same Problem)
7- Last, I did Restore Point (was last week) and the problem was fixed

So i just want to know what the problem is to avoid happening again.

Thx

P.S all other games running all smooth

it could have been a windows update as Windows likes to do Stealth updates.... just turn it off and it shouldnt come back

If you have xfire or steam, turn them off.
Also, my friend had this like a day ago, just leave your PC off for a while, so it can cool down. And then there's usually better, improved experience after. Also, hoovering the fan in your hardrive also helps ;)

Regards.

it's ATI 5870HD came with the computer Alienware ALX, and it's only happens in COD only. the other games work great with options are high (like crysis, Bad Company 2, etc...)
