Forum Suggestion

I have a forum suggestion that could reword the members on these forums a bit. Make an Elite Member(or Premium) group.

The Elite Members would have more PM inbox space and a lower search flood control for example. And there names would be in a different color.

Now how to get the position you ask?
You would get it by being active on the forums and would automatcly get promoted to it by reaching a number of posts like(1000).

To prevent spamming i would suggest ban the users who simply spammed the forums to get it. I would take that role if i would get the position as a global moderator(if you ask who would do it).

Any comments on my idea?

Um cervikal i didn't mean for VIP as helping the forum but a way to show a senior status on the forums.

I've now added Elite forum group, users with 650+ posts will get auto promoted to it, PM limit is 500, search limit thing can't be changed per user group, avatar and profile pic max size is increased to 200 x 200 file size 200KB.

malciouspit and Krackling are the only Elite members at the moment (it only promotes normal members).

Thanks kira. BTW on IPB(Invision Power Board) i could limit it to the user group i wanted. Like Admins and Mods no limit. Elite Members 10 seconds and normal members 50 seconds(got abused on one of my forums that is the reason why).

And maybe a little Elite only stuff like Private Chat,Download Center... for them?
