Full set
« on: January 19, 2010, 02:20:38 PM »
I dont know if have some thread already about this, but lets go...

Post here whats your favorite 'set', I mean:

- primary weapon;
- secondary weapon;
- primary grenade;
- secondary grenade;
- perk 1;
- perk 2;
- perk 3.

I know there is a 'full set' for each map, but tell the what you use most and why.

I will start, then:

M1 Garand with Grenade Launcher
Double Barrel

Molotov Cocktail
Smoke Grenade

- Perk1 - GL nade, so...
- Stopping power
- Second chance

Also i like to replace Double Barrel for Type100 or PTRS for big maps (renan bridge,  seelow maybe, downfall..) and sometimes replace stopping power for fireworks.

Why molotov than nade?
Molotov's blow up when they hit the target, and nade if u dont cook right, they blow up near of you or some people can pass in front of you and then *boom*. Also to hit the target perfectly with nade you have to do impecable timing.

And why smoke?
Smoke i think is the best way to run when 3+ zombies are coming for you and you can buy a little time for think some strategy to escape or can do some kills.

Stopping power is nothing special, just because to do more damage by shooting.

Fireworks is the more damage for the rifle nade, but you have to be carefull with that for you dont blow yourself up.

And second chance for the 30hp recovered instead 20hp.

Thats it.

Now, its your time to do it.

Hope you guys can do it like i did.
Post your 'full set' and tell some reasons for why you using it.

See all on the game (;

for maps where all die within 10min (airfield, asylum, hangar, dome etc..)

- type100 large
- kar98k with GL
- grenade
- flare
- perk1 nothing (GL)
- fireworks
- second chance

for really long maps (die brücke, renan bridge etc..)

-type100large
-ptrs/magnum
-grenade
-flare
-satchels
-stopping power <3
-second chance

and when i do not really want to play

-trench shotgun with bayo
-type100 large
-grenade
-flare
-satchels
-flak jacket (stupid blowers)
-second chance

tip: the two grenades are your best weapons..for the very last stand with 1-5 hunters (multikills 2 - 6 -> WIN)

About FG42

Also i like to use that weapon to middle/long range because it reloads good (if you dont shoot all bullets on the clip) and kills pretty fast if isnt the first/second zombie.

And the sight is one of the best to accurate shooting.

Sorry again about my english i need to study more, i know :)

ps.: Its for you andy02 (:

- primary weapon; PPSH
- secondary weapon; FG42, DB, PTRS, Kar98k, Mosin...assX, MG42 or Type 100
- primary grenade; Frag
- secondary grenade; Smoke (So I can escape the camping place and hide, then call arty on camping place when everyone is dead)
- perk 1;  Satchels
- perk 2; Sleight of hand
- perk 3; Extreme conditioning

But usually I like to be first zombie so...

- primary weapon; Slap
- secondary weapon; Puke
- primary grenade; Explode
- secondary grenade; Limb
- perk 1; Anything
- perk 2; Sleight
- perk 3; Extreme conditioning

well heres what i use.

primary weapon- kar98k with bayo
secondary weapon- ppsh large clip

i use the frag grenade cause i hate stickeys.
signal flare

perk one- satchels... kinda obvious.

perk two- i use fireworks cause it makes mines do 300 more damage and along with satchels, artillary is stonger too

perk three- second chance.... again obvious:p

i rely on getting like 13000 points before i camp though

Yes I think so, fireworks is increased explosive damage, therefore it'll include:
- Grenades.
- Satchels.
- Rockets.
- Artilery.
- Etc.

:)

Ppsh with sleight of hand is just wrong, with reload cancel an empty ppsh reloads more faster.
I guess is not against the rules, i've seen admins doing it.

nearly everyone does it. (do you mean you cancel the long reload when you have no rounds left, so that it takes as long as when you reload with some bullets left?)
fast reload is only good for double barreled

its good for a lot of weapons, specially empty; ppsh empty reload is cut in half done right.
mg42 also has a good reload cancel.
as seen here -> http://www.cod4central.com/codwaw-weapon-stats.php

Just compare the empty reload (gun animation), with the empty add
